You can practically send any vouchers, reports, ledgers directly from Tally to your customers WhatsApp number as added in the party master in Tally.

Follow the steps below to Send Messages from Tally to WhatsApp
- Download the Tally to WhatsApp TCP from here (Trial or Paid Version)
- Copy the downloaded TCP file in your TallyPrime folder
- Open a Company in TallyPrime > Press F1: Help > TDLs & Add-ons > Press F4: Manage Local TDLs and select the TCP file to load
- Press F6: add-on features and enable the Tally to WhatsApp module
- On gateway of Tally you will find a new option as “Tally to WhatsApp”
- Go to WhatsApp Settings and enter your unique WhatsApp API Instance ID and Token
- Update your customers and suppliers mobile number with country code prefix, 91 for India
- All done! You will now find a new button to send WhatsApp messages on all vouchers, outstanding reports and ledgers
Most amazing thing about this Tally to WhatsApp Sender TDL is you don’t need to keep your WhatsApp open or don’t need to scan your WhatsApp every time you send the messages. It sends messages in the background via WhatsApp REST API route.

Generate WhatsApp API Token
Click on the Generate/View API Token as shown in below spanshot and you will be redirected to the WhatsApp API Panel;
Click on + Add DeviceÂ
Go to your WhatsApp Mobile App > Linked Devices > Scan QR code to connect your WhatsApp account.
Once QR code is connected, go to WhatsApp by QR API > Click on Generate Token
WhatsApp Settings in TallyPrime
Go to WhatsApp settings and update linked mobile numbers and API token as shown below;
Voucher Type Level Settings
You can Enable/Disable following options like send WhatsApp on voucher save, voucher alter, default WhatsApp template and default WhatsApp number through which message to be sent.
Customer Mobile Number Update
Under customer ledger you can update primary whatsapp number and additional whatsapp numbers on which whatsapp messages to be sent from TallyPrime as shown below;
You can even define if a customer to be excluded while sending bulk WhatsApp messages.
You can even define WhatsApp number at group level if you want to send whatsapp message to your internal team member like salesman.
WhatsApp Message Template
You can either use our pre-built WhatsApp message template or create your own WhatsApp message template using available Variables.
Go to Tally to WhatsApp > WhatsApp Message Template
Click on the Add Variable to view the list of variables supported for the selected transaction type.
Variables are used to auto inset a dynamic value from the voucher entry to the message content.
Send Invoice on WhatsApp
Click on the button “Send WhatsApp Message”
Preview pop-up will be opened with all the information about WhatsApp message will be sent;

By default our TDL License key is permissible to use for one company only but if you have multiple companies running on the same Tally serial number then you may request for license extension request by reverting to the same purchase email.
You can even re-use or migrate the same license key by De-Activating the same key.
