🔥 TallyPrime TDL Updates Dated : 25/06/2026

📂 Multiple Document Management

✅ Added separate forms at Master level and Voucher level as;

• Local Documents = Yes/No
• Web Documents = Yes/No

This allows independent management of local and web documents instead of using a common form.

✅ Introduced Document Title field for Web Documents to easily identify document type.

✅ Added Document Path column in Local Documents section to display the complete document location.

✅ Documents attached at the Ledger Master level are now directly visible from: Chart of Accounts → Ledgers → Ledger View

This eliminates the need to open individual ledger masters to view attached documents.

🔐 OTP Based Login

✅ Users configured third-party email SMTP server were not getting OTP emails. This issue is resolved now.

👨‍💼 Salesman Module

New Features Added

✅ Added Show Profit = Yes/No option in Salesman-wise Item-wise Sales Report.

✅ Introduced Salesman Column with filter button in Columnar Sales Register.

✅ Added Bulk Salesman Update utility to bulk update salesman in customer ledgers through Excel import.

Bug Fix

✅ Collection Report was incorrectly displaying master-level salesman when a different salesman was selected during receipt entry. This issue has been resolved.

🧾 Custom Invoice Formats

Bug Fixes

✅ Empty eInvoice Ack No. and Ack Date titles were getting printed even eInvoice not generated. This issue has been resolved now.

✅ Empty Terms of Payment and Terms of Delivery titles were getting printed. This issue has been resolved now.

✅ Export/LUT/SEZ invoices now correctly print LUT Number and Export Declaration.

✅ Multi Voucher Printing format compatibility issue has been resolved.

New Features

✅ Payment QR Code now displays the associated UPI ID below the QR code.

✅ You can now predefine:

• Terms of Payment
• Terms of Delivery

under Sales Voucher Types for quick selection while creating invoices. This saves repeatitive time and errors.

✅ Added new field Reverse Charges Applicable = Yes/No for invoice printing.

🔒 Restrict Ledgers, Groups & Voucher Types

✅ New option to Restrict User wise Voucher Types is now introduced.

This will help to restrict user wise voucher type access.

📊 Cost Center Wise Profit & Loss

✅ Direct Expense Groups and their Ledgers were not appearing in reports. This issue has now been resolved.

💬 Tally to WhatsApp (No-META)

Bug Fixes

✅ Resolved issue where incorrect PDF attachments were being sent during bulk ledgers & confirmations.

✅ Manual Outstanding Reminder for all customers is now working correctly.

Enhancements

✅ Dr/Cr indicator is now displayed with Closing Balance while sending Sales Bill WhatsApp messages.

New Scheduling Options

Auto Outstanding Reminders now support:

• Send reminders before XX due days
• Send reminders every XX days
• Send reminders on every XX date of the month

New Features

While generating Bulk Maintenance Bills:

✅ Dynamic Narration is now generated automatically for each bill.

✅ Define custom billing periods for:

• Quarterly Billing
• Half-Yearly Billing

✅ New users will get prompt on first-time company setup option Is GST Applicable to Your Society = Yes/No. This helps prevent voucher total mismatch errors.

✅ Parking details such as:

• Vehicle Number
• Parking Lot Number

can now be printed on maintenance bills.

Bug Fix

✅ Bulk Maintenance Update form now correctly clears previously entered values to avoid maintenance charges duplications.

New Feature

✅ Voucher Number column has been introduced while creating bulk receipt and payment entries.

1. Smart Emails & Reminder Module

• Now collect payment faster with our automated Outstanding reminder scheduler.
• You can now define multiple Outstanding reminders as follows;
• Send Outstanding Reminders “xx” day’s prior to the bill due date. Sending reminders in advance.
• Send Outstanding Reminders every “xx” days
• Send Outstanding Reminders every “xx” date of the month
• You can now Exclude Ledger to whom auto Outstanding reminder should not be sent
• You can now define which User can perform auto Outstanding Reminders for better internal control
• Outstanding reminders are now generate based on the current system date rather then last voucher date of the company
• You can now define Outstanding reminders to be sent as “Ledger” or as a “Reminder Letter”

2. Cost Center Wise Profit & Loss and Balance Sheet Module

• Sub-groups and Ledger level Explode is now supported
• Sub-groups and Ledger level Totaling is now supported
• Cost Centers having no values will now Not displayed in the report
• Report hierarchy is now updated
• New report : Vouchers having No Cost Centers is introduced

3. Barcode Label Printing Module

• Barcode Label now supports printing of “Item Name” and Standard Selling Price as “SP : xxxx” defined in item master
• More label printing configurations will be added in upcoming update

4. Audit Trail Module

User wise Audit Trail report now supports voucher level drill down

🔥 TallyPrime TDL Updates Dated : 25/11/2025

Housing Society Module in Tally

• Interest was not getting calculated for overdue days when a member paid after the due date but before the next bill generation. This issue has now been resolved.
• When the Interest Ledger was not assigned under Member Maintenance Configuration, the system was wrongly bifurcating the interest amount in the bill allocation. This issue has now been resolved.
• Receipts were incorrectly printing the Bill Reference Number instead of the actual Bill Number. This issue has now been resolved.
• The overall font size in the Maintenance Bill printout has now been optimized for better readability.
• The Society Registration Date title was appearing on the Maintenance Bill even when the registration date was not entered. This issue has now been resolved.
• The Payment QR Code on the Maintenance Bill is now configurable — you can choose to:
  • Auto-set the full bill amount, or
  • Allow members to enter the amount manually.
• While sending bulk maintenance bills via email, empty PDF files were getting generated. This issue has now been resolved.
• Receipt acknowledgements were not printing when payment was received in Cash. This issue has now been resolved.

🔥 TallyPrime TDL Updates Dated : 07/10/2025

1. Salesman Module

• You can now define Salesman Wise, Item Wise, Item Group wise, Period Wise Targets and get a Target vs Actual Comparison Reports.
• F12: Configuration is now introduced in Salesman Wise Sales Report and Salesman Wise Item Wise Report to add and remove more columns and options

2. Tally to WhatsApp (No-META)

• You can now add upto 5 additional WhatsApp numbers in customer master to send WhatsApp messages to notify multiple persons belongs to same customer
• You can now define WhatsApp number at Group Level to notify about the transaction to the Customer + Number defined at Group Level
• You can now send Bulk Ledger & Confirmation reports on WhatsApp to all your Debtors & Creditors at a click of a button

3. Barcode Label Printing Module

• You can now print Bulk barcode labels for all or selected products and batches at a click of a buttons
• You can now print Barcode Labels from Purchase Vouchers + Production Vouchers + Stock Journal Vouchers based on the quantity defined for the products
• You can now set default Barcode Label printing Printer to avoid switching printers every time while printing Invoices and Labels

4. Travel Agency Module

• Travel agency billing module is now enhanced to fully support capturing of details required for the each booking types like;
  • Airlines
  • Bus
  • Train
  • Tour
  • Visa
  • Hotel
• Each booking types will print Tax Invoices differently to print relevant information’s according to the booking types
• You can now print seperate breakups of all the charges or club them into one single head while printing tax invoices
